- Insanity 8y agoYeah indeed, can't even really read it like this. I get that some websites might not scale well, but this just goes beyond that. :(
- mixedCase 8y agoThey're slides, not a website.
- zeroxfe 8y agoNot sure what the point of your comment is, but that's a website presenting slides.
- 4ad 8y agoNo, it's presentation software that's implemented via a website. The primary user of this software is the person giving the talk, not people on the internet. The fact that people on the internet can also see it is a bonus that comes with the choice of the implementation. Complaining that this doesn't work on mobile is like complaining Powerpoint doesn't work on mobile.
- zeroxfe 8y agoPowerpoint does work on mobile ;-)
- ainar-g 8y agoPlain text version here: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mvdan/talks/master/2018/go1.12-pre.slide https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mvdan/talks/master/2018/go.... Also, it is an issue: https://github.com/golang/go/issues/27026 https://github.com/golang/go/issues/27026. Marked as "help wanted".
- tyingq 8y agoThe issue isn't describing what I see on Android. It's chopped off on the left and I can't zoom out. Not usable at all. As mentioned elsewhere, forcing the desktop view is better.
- mattnewton 8y agoForcing the desktop view is still pretty unusable on iOS Safari for me.
- tyingq 8y agoForcing desktop "works" in portrait mode on my Android, but the text is pretty small. Landscape is cut off. Interesting though, that iOS Safari is borked too. Did they just take wild guesses on the mobile css and hope for the best?
- mattnewton 8y agoThe raw text version should just be the link. Who wanted the slide deck version?
- agumonkey 8y agonever heard of this plain text programming paradigm, very powerful
