Thank you so much for talking about critical path -- I think that is the biggest takeaway. As someone who had a manager who was very hands on... it was frustrating. The code he wrote was brilliant, but it was hard to review against him. Furthermore, when bugs came up, it was always "hey guys I don't have time for it, please fix it."
