The Data Innovation Team (part of C4ML) on the UIUC campus in research park is specifically focused on unsupervised and semi-supervised solutions to data related problems. Whether it is profiling data, identifying & tracking model drift, or creating synthetic data - we are a tight knit group, focusing on machine learning problems which deliver high value.
What we work on:
- Generating synthetic data, utilizing RNNs and GANs
- Identify complex data types, utilizing RNNs (think SSN, Address, Phone Number)
- Developing distributed and serverless systems to enable machine learning in the cloud
- Hyperparameter tuning at an enterprise scale
- Patent our cutting edge technologies
