I feel the same on the raising children point. I want to be a father, and my wife wants children too, but I feel as though it would be unfair - cruel, perhaps - to bring them into a society that could be a generation or two away from collapse. What sort of future would they have? It's a wrenching argument I have with myself that eats away at me deeply.
