This may be true of Class D amps commonly used in home equipment, but many high end powered PA speakers use Class D amps and get very loud with minimal distortion.
- TylerE 8y agoYou'd be surprised how much you can get away with in a PA. Being powerful and reliable is more important than being all that good, since the room always sounds bad anyway.
