For some reason Windows Defender started hogging my CPU today whenever I have my IDE open. In the multiple years since switching to Microsofts internal AV Solution i've never experienced this, does anyone else have a similar experience?
- detaro 8y agoMaybe your IDE started reindexing source files in the background, accessing many files very quickly? Defender can cause lots of load if that happens and it wants to inspect everything.
