I'm really impressed that they made a number of environmental friendly additions, though they haven't been played up as much:
- LED display is mercury-free
- No arsenic
- No BFR or PVC
etc.
- jonknee 8y agoThis is unchanged from the previous model (and probably model before that, Apple has been at it a while).
- zeroname 8y agoLED-backlit displays have always been mercury-free, it's the "ancient" CFL-backlit displays that needed mercury.
- saagarjha 8y agoThis has been true of most of Apple's products for years. Generally they have a slide that summarizes this after every product announcement.
