I have the same machine and it has performed admirably over the past five years. However recently it has been locking p for two to three minutes at a time. Tends to happen either with Adobe apps loading or if a Chrome tab starts working hard. I'd love to get another year or two out of the machine. Maybe I just need to clean it. The most annoying issue with the machine has been the thunderbolt to dual link DVI which causes my primary monitor to not get video when booting a good portion of the time. I replace the cable annually but that seems to only help a bit. Basically that computer never gets shut off because I don't have time in the morning to plug, unplug, restart, etc. until it works. Possibly never restarting also contributes to the lock ups I mentioned.
