I really don't understand why some people think that C-like syntax can be "nicer". You may be used to it, but it's certainly not nicer in any way and has lot of strange design choices.
- Jyaif 8y agoA couple of concrete examples: * Classes in Lua are a hack, and consequently the syntax for them is terrible. * Using "end" instead of "}". That decreases readability. * no "+=" or "++" operators.
