Ask HN: What happened with the AMD vulnerabilities?

Back in March some vulnerabilities for Ryzen were made known to the public. But haven't heard anything about that since then. What happened? Could these vulnerabilities be exploitable from inside VirtualBox if a remote user has root access inside of it?
