Is there a static type system analogy in this?
- WalterBright 8y agoI gave a whole presentation about this sort of thing some years back. These concepts very definitely are applicable to software design, especially programming languages. For example, a < b < c What does it do? Python: a < b && b < c C: ((a < b) ? 1 : 0) < c D: syntax error! Instead of trying to better educate programmers and code design reviews to solve it, make it impossible for such to pass the compiler.
