You'll be very hard pressed to average higher than ~20 km/h in cities.
- adrianN 8y agoYou'll be hard pressed to average higher than that in a car. That doesn't mean that it wouldn't be safer for the cyclist if they could be closer to the maximum speed of the traffic around them when they cycle on the road.
