Your argument would be stronger, I think, if it were less pro-Google and more focused on drawing an equivalence by pointing out that relying on Yandex dilutes DDG's privacy promise. "Google is good and trustworthy" is not a strong argument these days; "Google is the lesser of two evils" might be.
