They probably aren't. Aren't most Lyft and Uber drivers using non commercial insurance policies as well? What are your personal protections in an instance where you're a passenger in a commercial vehicle insured only for personal purposes in an accident where your driver's at fault? Would your medical bills be paid for? It's not something I'd considered before but seems concerning.
