As far as I understand Dynamicland is not a general purpose OS that tries to do everything. If you want to manage PostgreSQL, the shell is a pretty good way to do that.
Dynamicland looks like a real world IDE, where a lot of the interface consists of physical objects.
It's more like a Mathematica notebook than a bash shell.
