- malvosenior 8y agoCan you put other things in the box besides candy? It's an awesome concept but I can't eat that much candy every month.
- Drdrdrq 8y agoTea for example?
- asdfasgasdgasdg 8y agoAlmost everyone who could write software would be better off writing software. That's just the nature of being one the of the highest demand + expected value skillsets out there. That's no reason to be mean about someone who is doing something different.
- gray_-_wolf 8y agoAs for me I just want to let you know that I've signed up. I remember seeing this on youtube before (probably not unboxing, maybe ad at one of the rare moments I don't have adblock?) but kinda forgot about it. This post (interesting read btw) reminded me that I wanted to sign up. So I guess "advertising" on hacker news works as well :) Anyway, looking forward for the first box! Have a nice day :) PS: Someone else here mentioned if part of the stuff could be something beside candy, dunno, could be interesting too.
- chris_wot 8y agoThere was no need for him to be harsh. Good on you for doing this for so many years!
- asdfasgasdgasdg 8y agoBTW, you should advertise on the podcast "No Script At All." I suspect you'd find a receptive audience there who have never heard of you.
- istjohn 8y agoIt may not make sense for you logistically, but while a twice-monthly subscription is too much for me, I would totally order these boxes as one-off gifts for friends and family.
