I don't think Apple's decision is going to be a death-rattle to Java on OS X, but it provides an interesting perspective. If nothing else, it's provided the groundwork for my next software development project. The vast majority of tools my industry uses to perform a specific type of testing are Java-based, and more and more folks I run into are using Macs.
