my question is yes, lisp.. but what is beyond lisp?
- ska 8y agomore lisp :) Joking aside, I think lisp is nearly fundamental in the same way that c is.
- mruts 8y agoMaybe higher kinded types? Monads, Monoids, Functors, etc etc
- gizmo385 8y agoLISP is more akin to a class of languages rather than a single language in isolation, so it is kind of trick to ask what's "beyond" LISP.
- moocowtruck 8y agoif we can solidly say what lisp is, then i'd assume there's beyond the horizon...if we can't say what lisp is.. then whats the point? is it just anything? i mean, if i have a lisp with static types vs not static types, why is the lisp part important at all? and you just have two different languages one with static types and one without? seems very unimportant? i dunno could someone enlighten me
- calebm 8y agoBehind lisp is its creator, behind which is pure truth/mathematics, behind which is the divine creator, who is the ultimate base case: "I am that I am".
