Cerebellum More Involved in Cognition Than Previously Thought
- nabla9 8y ago> "isn't only involved in sensory-motor function, it's involved in everything we do," Cerebellum can be involved in many things and malfunctioning cerebellum can cause problems, but it's not necessary. People whose cerebellum is destroyed by disease or cleanly removed do fine for the most part. Their fine motor functions are not as before, but otherwise they seem fine. Rest of the brain seems to be able to compensate for cerebellum's involvement in other things.
