Andy went shopping for robotics startups at the Darpa Grand Challenge, and bought 8 of them. All the good ones, including Boston Dynamics. Then Andy left Google, and all that shit got left in the lurch, it was leaderless, and a real mess. It would have been some kind of alternate history timeline if Andy kept it in his pants and stuck with the robotics subsidiary.
