The striking thing to me in this article is the utter weakness of the policy: "Google’s sexual harassment policy states that violators may be terminated." May be terminated? Most employment agreements in the U.S. are at-will. Any employee "may be" terminated at any time, for any reason. Any sexual harassment policy that doesn't say, "Will be terminated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law." isn't a policy. It's a fucking joke.
