By default the keyboard shortcut is disabled in Mojave, and when turned on is actually Control+Option+Command+8.
- miles 8y agoReenable the Control-Option-Command-8 keyboard shortcut to invert colors via: System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > Accessibility > check "Invert colors".
