Organic foods still use a ton of pesticides. I just think people that would pay extra for organic foods are more interested in health overall, so it's a correlative effect only. I don't think a double-blind test is feasible here, but I wouldn't be surprised if it showed little difference between both types of farming, provided proper food preparation is followed (wash produce, throughout cook meats, etc).
