- dsfyu404ed 8y agoYup. Societal norms aren't built around the lowest common denominator, they're build around whatever get the loudest complainers to STFU. Sometimes that's a good thing. Sometimes that's a bad thing. When it comes to being offended on behalf of other people I think it's almost always in the "bad thing" category.
