He's definitely no bullshit but he's not very good at contextualizing the stuff he writes. Instead of writing "we did X in Y situation and it worked out great, but it probably wouldn't work well in Z situation" he just says "X is awesome, everybody should be doing it". And that's the story of how I came to work on a team that maintained ~16 unnecessary microservices.
