I have taken time out of my profession to start a company, and I am still involved with a charitable organisation and my personal learning. Day to day I use to do lists to ensure that I have a daily focus, but once a month I write down whats important to me and preen anything that isnt. I also have a strong, supportive partner. I only met her 9 months ago and I was already well into the startup. She has been a god send.
