But even if that were not the case, it doesn't help any of the people we're talking about. Some random farmer or coal miner is just getting buy and has no way to buy land and fend for himself. Without his job that everyone is so desperate to take away from him, he can't keep paying the loan on the scrap of land he has now, how's he going to buy "cheap land" in "some remote place"?
