Would like to see YC address the economic incentive problem with carbon sequestering. How do you incentivize companies and individuals to capture C02? What lessons from the failed cap and trade systems can be adapted to a new "sequester and trade system"? Solving this problem would open up resources to this field. Right now we suffer from global bystander/freeloader syndrome. The cost of global warming is spread to thin/gradual across the global population.
