How fun would it be if you had to watch a 30 second commercial before the car starts? Or even to open the car door.
Something like that would drive me insane.

- liftbigweights 8y agoWhat if traffic lights turn into ad platforms? And everyone waiting has to watch the ad before the light turns green and everyone can move?
- WrtCdEvrydy 8y agoTrue story, I actually worked on a proof of concept for something like this for a mapping application (think Waze-like). It would detect if you were stopped at a light and switch to an ad.
- Waterluvian 8y agoIf anything could make me go on a D-FENS rampage, that would be it. Also someone needs to make a VR game jam "future simulator" that realizes all these terrible possibilities.
- jodrellblank 8y agoOr if all the roads you drive down had roadside billboard advertising, like an early way to pretend the windshield is a display. :| 7-speed automatic but gears 4,5,6,7 are DLC.
