Am I the only one who finds it naive to name a startup UberCAB and then act as if it had nothing to do with taxi dispatching services? It's as if the PayPal founders decided to call it "UberBank."
- jambo 16y agoIt might not be seen this way in general, which goes to the PR problem another poster mentioned, but my perception is that when someone markets something as über-, they mean it transcends or supersedes what they're prefixing. So not "cabs" but "better than cabs".
