Agreed. The Saudis have been snatching up real-estate all over Europe, America, and the middle-east. KSR is the largest foreign investor in Turkish real estate. If you remember the Gezi park protests, they were more about Saudis and Qataris forcing unwanted conservatism on the Beyoğlu city of central Istanbul than it was about saving the park. The average Türk, except for the very upper-class, would be very happy to end the influence of the Saudis in their country.
