For other reasons, I don't have a family doctor. All the doctors my insurance will pay for require making appointments >9 months in advance, and I fly so much with work that I can't commit to that type of lead time. Twice I've missed appointments, and both times instead of letting me reschedule the practice informed me that I was no longer allowed with them, and that missing an appointment is considered a big offense. One day I'll figure it out but at 24 years old it's not a huge deal to me.
