The AirBnB cereal boxes is more genius than desperate. I consider desperate things like the Zappos story where Tony literally sold everything he owned to keep the business afloat.
- twidlit 16y agoI think it was more desperate than genius since it was nothing to do with their product and the goal there was to earn money to sustain them further. The expo>shortage>CNN coverage is an example of a genius move by the same guys.
