- Cyphase 8y agoYou're falling into the fallacy of relative privation. "Why are we so worried about __________ when __________?", implying that you can't be concerned about both.
- kardos 8y agoNot sure what you mean by in play. Dual EC DRBG was widely discredited in 2013/2014; it's not part of the gamut of viable cryptographic tools anymore. Anyone still using it today is hopelessly out of date, but that's a different problem entirely than the threat/promise of quantum computing.
