Ask HN: Apple Watch App Developer (UK) Demand?

I want to write an open-source iOS app that I’ll submit to the App Store to get my iOS Developer career back on track after 3 years away. Is there much demand out there for Apple Watch App Developers? I figured I may as well learn something new to me during the process and get something impressive on my CV. Can’t seem to find any Apple Watch related development jobs in a casual UK job search. Does anyone know or have any data to suggest how much of a demand there is out there for this skill?
