- scarface74 8y agoOf course no one can predict the future, but seeing that until last month I was running my Plex Server on a 2009 era Core 2 Duo 2.66Ghz running Windows 10 with 8GB of RAM and in day to day use, I couldn’t tell any performance difference between that and a newer computer except for the spinning hard drive. Computers just aren’t becoming obsolete as fast as they use to. I should be able to get at least 5 years out of it as a primary computer and even longer as a secondary computer.
