That's the argument - you are already required to show photo id and have a person compare your photo to your face. This replaces that person with an algorithm.

- xyz0 8y agoBut that person isn't attached to databases containing archived CCTV, scraped social media data [1], parking tickets, license plate reader data [2], phone metadata, or the myriad biased and unaccountable algorithms created by private companies, used to rank and sort humans [3].
