I have become more of a zealot since having to spend several months soloing this year.
- sanderjd 8y agoIn general, I'm happy to say "to each their own", but pairing is very often not a personal choice. Your zealotry may well affect me! Happily, pairing doesn't seem to be taking the industry by storm at the moment, so I'm not too worried about it, but when I started my career (mostly in Ruby) it seemed like a real possibility, which I came to fear the more I realized how poorly it suited me emotionally.
- jacques_chester 8y agoI think what's important is that you got the opportunity to try it and reject it. I just wish more people were open to and had the same opportunity.
