There was an HN comment from ages ago that was one of my favorites, but I am unable to find a link to it.
Basically it was a user listing how life changes at different levels of wealth.
ie.
1MM : take family on a big vacation each year
5MM : stop worrying about retirement
10MM : stop working for other people
100MM : private jets to wherever you need to go
and on and on, or something to that effect
