Nice simple idea. This is surely useful when you want to send several URLs to someone. For me, this is rather an edge usecase during my web-activities. So I'm not sure if this has potential to be monetized somehow.
- wave 18y agoThanks for all your comments. Relative to how simple it was to create, I thought it worth to put it out there and see if people like it. [edit]See how it can also be used. - sanswork 18y agoIt would probably be best to monetize it as you would proxy site. With Adsense and a few affiliate banners. Then once traffic gets up a bit flip it on sitepoint.
- andreyf 18y agoEw, how unimaginative. I think it's probably more clever to exploit the fact that people are associating sites with each other - if someone is interested in one, they'd be interested in the others. Maybe start a web search?
- 9oliYQjP 18y agoAnd/Or, this would be a very useful way of using humans to relate URLs to each other with an explanation of what the relation is. I'm not well-versed on the current state of AI but I think this sort of activity is still something that is too complex to get computers to do well and efficiently.
- sanswork 18y agoAnd you would monetize that how?
- smhinsey 18y agovolume! economies of scale!
