Many thoughtful liberals are defecting from the Left. Not necessarily to the Right, but just towards sanity.
Yes, we have crackpots on the Right, but apart from POTUS, few of them have power, and few of them are lent credibility by the Right at large.
Do you really think female accusers should always be believed, period? Do you really think that to be a white American is to be a racist? Do you really believe that justice entails equal outcomes rather than equal opportunity?

A lot of us are just the long-loyal, basically decent spouse, listening to our mate scream at us about how everything that's wrong with the world is personally our fault. At some point, you just tune out, and then ultimately walk away.
