Carrot weather already has Dark Sky as the default. You need to pay for a subscription if you want to use it on the iPhone, and a higher-tier subscription for the Watch. I'm assuming they're just remove WU and have DS as the only option.
- pilif 8y agoHere in Europe, the Dark Sky based forecasts are really bad, whereas the weather underground ones are in line with other local forecasts. Now in case of carrot, I guess having unreliable forecasts is totally in line with the other tangential functionality of the app anyways :-)
- Terretta 8y agoIn Carrot, WU adds an extra $10 or so. I paid it, as there are 15% accuracy swings between the two depending on your locality.
