- megous 8y agoAhhh, the memories of spending after-school hours buying and selling silos for extra money (there was some thinko in the game logic - full silo was sold for more money than it cost to build, or something like that) in their first C&C game to build a massive army and crush the AI opponent. :)
- wingerlang 8y agofull silo was sold for more money than it cost to build Seems like it makes sense though, since it would be full of money (ore)
- Ndymium 8y agoC&C didn't have ore, it had Tiberium. Red Alert had ore and diamonds.

- megous 8y agoThe trouble was that if you had many silos, when you built a new one, it got filled with tiberium from other silos and I think that when you sold the tiberium would get redistributed back to the other silos. Anyway, all I remember is that you could generate free money just by buying and selling silos in a loop (if you already had many silos and they were full).

- a_f 8y agoWhilst the studio is dead, there are rumors of remastered C&C(s) on the horizon from EA.
- DarkWiiPlayer 8y agoRIP Westwood. They made some awesome games and I spent so many hours playing them...
- arayh 8y agoDespite all the corny acting in their in-game dialogue, if they released a movie based on C&C, I would definitely go watch it.

Much of my life was spent playing these games.
- client4 8y agoNice! I've tried OpenRA and enjoyed it, but for whatever reason Tiberium Sun captured my attention the most :)
- nyxtom 8y agoAll the afternoons after school playing this game with friends. So much fun. I also remember the humor of discovering lag and kill lag.
