I don't think it's unfair at all. As I read it, Zuckerberg's response is exactly what Carr is talking about: It's a problem now, but it's fine because we are going to make Facebook so much better; it will be awesome. It will even have a Supreme Court! Facebook as it exists now is just the beginning.
- yellowstuff 8y agoThe article is specifically saying that people with "Borg Complex" say that engineers and technology will solve all our problems. Zuckerberg is proposing something much different than that- his Supreme Court doesn't include Facebook employees. He's admitting that tech has not and cannot solve these problems. I think Zuckerberg's answer is as far from "Borg Complex" as it could possibly be, within the constraint that he'll never propose blowing up Facebook.
