You have stuff like Enderal when it comes to mods and I hopefully dont have explain to you, how unpolished and simply broken many games are, let alone dlcs. There is a giant list of games which are only playable after years and years of community patches, made surprise surprise mainly by the modding community. But thats if modding is possible. If not you are left with the shitnugget you preordered.
