The appropriately-cheap hanger built for cheap trainer aircraft may get repurposed to store expensive aircraft. Somebody (who?) needs to notice that the more-valuable aircraft are worthy of a more-expensive hanger.
Stuff corrodes, and somebody has to notice it. Hangers built near the ocean will corrode faster than normal.
