Clearly she didn’t discuss the danger of extrapolating a trend line from a single datapoint.
- xvedejas 8y agoI make no claim as to whether competent science ethicists exist. Clearly this anecdote is a good example of what professors of humanities should try to avoid if they aim to fix problems in STEM.
- sprash 8y agoMost humanities do not understand or even argue against the concepts of statistics. It might well be that she even lacked the capabilities to make an argument like you just made.
