Probably, a couple of pounds saved is not important given the weight of a person on that wheelchair.
- mitchbob 8y agoAs someone who's helped wheelchair-bound people get around, I can say that the weight of a wheelchair - as well as easy collapsibility - matters a lot when moving people around by car.
- vinay427 8y agoIf it's anything like bicycling, and it seems like it should be vaguely comparable, I'm sure the couple of pounds (1-2 kg) makes a noticeable difference in real world use.
- hinkley 8y agoCarry a 20 lbs backpack for a bit. Then take two pounds out and see if you can tell.
