The issue is that clinical trials / proper research has not been allowed for so long. As with many other "drugs".
Not up to date on the latest, but when I researched it for a talk in Uni some 20 years ago, that was the biggest problem. The non-scientific research, or so to say, overwhelmingly suggests lots of benefits. The amount of reported pain relief alone is incredible. We will have to wait for research to catch up, and probably fight the industry quite a bit. Pillpushers will fight till the bitter end I fear.

- bitxbitxbitcoin 8y agoLuckily there are some countries that have been more allowing of cannabis research than the United States so the research will catch up rather quickly I should hope. I agree that the pillpushers will undoubtedly fight until the bitter end.
