It shows your ability to deliver and see something from start to finish also all the technical experience you've gained. I think it is only a matter of time until someone sees that you gain employment. If they don't it's their loss. I guess the only thing that can work against you is your ability to work as a team and interact to achieve best results through communication. Something that a company should be willing invest.
